Organizations I support

amnesty I am a long time member of Amnesty International, having volunteered as a coordinator, chairperson and fundraiser.

As a new Canadian, I have been part of a reconciliation working group in support of Canada’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission, which seeks to learn the truth about what happened in Canada’s residential schools and to inform all Canadians about what happened in the schools.

I love UBC farm and volunteered there for five years with the Landed Learning Program, introducing organic farming to children.

I spent two months working with Stand Tall school in Kampala, Uganda. I love their approach and Ssimbwa is the best. Please support them!

My friend runs a wonderful non-profit for homeless children, bringing educational support to children all over the Bay Area. Community Education Partnerships does great work and they definitely need more donations to keep the operation running

New Way Community is a particularly refreshing organization that focuses on radical inclusion and hospitality for the most troubled of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

I have worked for and support many other wonderful organizations which are too many to name here!
